Abstract:
This project maps 1 and 2 dollar a day poverty in developing countries from multiple data sources. The effort is carried out by a consortium that includes CGIAR centers, the World Bank and CIEISIN.

The primary purpose is to provide data on the numbers of poor in developing countries at the finest available spatial resolution. Future use will include any research related to poverty across the developing world.
